About Netbreeze
To make use of the web with intelligent solutions,
…was the elementary vision. Founded in 1999 as a spin-off of ETH Zurich, Netbreeze implementes and lives this vision with experts in linguistics, computer and natural sciences.
The vision is now called Netbreeze Navigator, our always-evolving social media monitoring platform. In addition to qualitatively and quantitatively sophisticated retrieval methods (Natural Language Processing, Computational Linguistics), you can perform analyses with our software in 26 different languages. Netbreeze management team
Managing director and founder: strategy, product and business development
François Ruf studied Theoretical Physics from 1992 to 
1998 at ETH Zurich with two semesters at the Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse (France). Topic of his master thesis: Artificial Intelligence.
After the master degree, he founded the Netbreeze company in September 1998 with the vision to efficiently use the internet as global information database. Since 1998 he is CEO of Netbreeze and responsible for the strategy and support of key clients, with particular interest in online business models.
François Ruf is married and has three children. By climbing mountains he from time to time flees the virtual online world.

Managing director: finance, controlling and administration
Dr. Frank Hannich studied business administration at the
University of Bayreuth. After graduating in business administration, he was project leader of an international EU research project and received his PhD about marketing services with Prof. Dr. Woratschek.
Since 2007 he teaches and conducts research in marketing and CRM at ZHAW and supports companies in consulting projects to become more customer-focused.
A consulting project about sales strategy and marketing efficiency brought him 2009 Netbreeze GmbH, where he is responsible for marketing, finance, controlling and administration.

Head of product development
Stefan Kummer studied German literature and linguistics, film and media studies at the University of Zurich.
As long-time head of consulting at Netbreeze he has a wealth of experience in social media and web monitoring projects. Since 2010, Stefan Kummer is responsible for the development of new products and content development of our software platform.
Stefan Kummer lives in Zurich, is an enthusiastic mountain biker and member of the International Short Film Festival Winterthur.

Head of sales und project management
As graduate in marketing, Beate Geppert has been responsible for marketing and sales in international companies. She has over 15 years of experience in key account management and development of products for multinational corporations in the health and pharmaceutical industry.
Since 2008, Beate Geppert enthusiastically sells web monitoring solutions for Netbreeze. Since mid-2010 she is head of sales department and project management. With her team she is responsible for customer-specific projects and the distribution of all products.
Beate Geppert is married and has two children. In her spare time she plays tennis and likes to read detective novels - their conclusion: only Netbreeze is more exciting!

Head of IT
Mark Cieliebak studied computer science at the University of Dortmund and earned his doctorate at the ETH Zurich on algorithms in bioinformatics. He subsequently worked as Java developer and spent several years in the architectural team of a major Swiss bank.
Since 2008 he is head of IT at the Netbreeze Ltd. He is responsible for software development, operation of customer solutions, technical infrastructure and for the strategic direction of IT.
Mark Cieliebak is married and has three children.
